Skill pathways
A new learning experience.
Technological change is accelerating. Many parents recognize STEAM subjects (science, technology, engineering, arts and math) are fundamental in preparing their children for the careers of the future, but see schools more focused on traditional studies. Steamoji’s 400-hour curriculum is designed to fill the gap in a structured and reinforcing fashion across each subject pathway. Students are taught basic skills, then encouraged to practically apply them in the spirit of “Build to Solve™”.

Steamoji students will be ahead of the curve by gaining essential skills for the 21st-century while learning how to tackle their generation’s global challenges.
While there are other camps introducing STEAM concepts, there is no other
structured program like Steamoji which takes an elementary school child through
400 hours of reinforcing projects over a 5-year time period.

STEAM Goes Medieval: Creating Castles & Catapults
Availability
3 spots left
Suggested Age
5 - 7
Skills
Incoming! In this camp, Apprentices will become engineers as they work in teams to build the strongest catapult and tallest tower that they can. To conquer the challenge, they'll learn about levers and mechanical advantage, building techniques and balance. As well as becoming masterful engineers, they’ll tap into their creative side and make colorful birds and mascots to launch from the catapult. On the last day, teams will face off to try and knock down their opponents' towers before their tower is tumbled, too!
Lightbulb Moment: Making a 3D Printed Lamp
Availability
6 spots left
Suggested Age
8 - 14
It’s time for bright ideas! In this camp, Apprentices will work with key STEAM skills to create their own RGB lamp. Using a combination of coding, 3D modeling, 3D printing, and circuit-building, they’ll plan, design, and build a creation straight out of their imagination. During this camp, they’ll take their builds all the way from a pen-and-paper concept to a fully functional light feature, which they can proudly bring home at the end of the week. Let’s get building!
Carnival of Creativity: Digital Storytelling and Fabrication

Suggested Age
8 - 14
Start with your brainpower and finish with a bang! In this physical computing camp, apprentices combine coding with a series of other STEM activities to bring their programming skills into action!
It’s all about connecting the digital world and the real world. The goal? Create a motion-sensor machine that can launch an object, play a game or simply say “hello”. To get there, apprentices will learn to code an Arduino microcontroller, and connect it to a device they’ve built using electrical engineering and fabrication skills. Come and see how far your skills can go – literally!

WHY STEAMOJI WORKS
What Parents Are Saying
Ashish Mishra
PARENT
" Love this place. The only tough part of this center is to get kids to come home after the class. They always have a blast here. Robotics, 3d printing, wood carving, engineering, it's all taught here."
Aida Conway
PARENT
" We signed up our son a few months ago and it seems like he is really enjoying Steamoji! He gets to do robotics, engineering, 3D printing, which he is really excited about! As parents we are very happy that he gets to challenge himself and also that he has amazing teachers to guide him through his projects. It’s been a really good after school program for him and the staff has been super helpful!..."
Leslie Buckley
PARENT
" Our son has been going to Steamoji for about 9 months and absolutely loves it. There’s a good variety of lessons so even if he doesn’t love a subject matter, he can find something else that’s interesting. And earning coins towards prizes always helps! Highly recommend for anyone wanting to get their kids more involved in STEAM activities."
Mayuri Ganguly
PARENT
" My6 year old is really enjoying the sessions and often wants to stay more after his classes."
Carin Panganiban
PARENT
" I highly recommend trying Steamoji (and particularly this location). The regular staff is so friendly and helpful and the program teaches things beyond what school (or I) could teach! My son first tried Steamoji last year for Summer Camp and he loved it so much that we signed up for a full year -- and he even had his 8th birthday there! He goes twice a week and loves that he could choose his own p..."

" My son has been attending Steamoji since it opened and we were one of the founding families. I am extremely impressed with the wide range of skills my son has gained over the last year. I have spent countless hours researching stem kits and programs for my kids and Steamoji has been a great intersection for all these types of pursuits. We are excited for all the upcoming missions my son will be gi..."

" My 2 elementary school sons ( now 8 and 11) have been coming to Steamoji Redmond for almost 2 years. They have always been enjoying the well planned lessons and very helpful and friendly staff and teachers who are always here to help my kids think out of the box and innovate new ideas and engineer new solutions. Nicole always greets us with a great smile and she has been very accommodating to our ..."
