Israel Oseahon

Welcome to Steamoji Calgary West! My name is Israel Oseahon, and I am proud to serve as the Academy Director. I am passionate about education because I genuinely believe there is no greater pursuit than the pursuit of knowledge, and no more meaningful way to give back than by sharing it with others.

With a background in Mechanical Engineering and hands-on professional experience, I have seen how intimidating STEM subjects can feel later in life. I believe they don’t have to be that way. When introduced early, in a fun and engaging environment, STEM becomes less of a mountain to climb and more of an exciting path to explore.

At our academy, children are apprentices, learning through hands-on projects during thoughtfully designed sessions that encourage curiosity, creativity, and collaboration. My goal is to create a space where Steamoji families feel supported, and where apprentices feel confident experimenting, making mistakes, and discovering what they’re capable of.

I am proud to be part of Steamoji and look forward to helping make STEM an accessible, enjoyable journey for every apprentice who walks through our doors.

Let’s get building!
