Ever wondered how your favorite gadgets and toys really work? In this 3-day camp, kids become inventors and engineers as they design, build, and test their own creations!
They’ll start by constructing simple machines with robotics kits to understand the mechanics behind motion and movement.
Campers will test and refine a claw mechanism, mastering design and iteration.
They’ll dive into the world of magnetism by building and navigating their own Magnet Cars through challenge courses.
Through hands-on experiments, they’ll explore pendulums, coordinates, and forces while turning science into play.
From Battle Boats to Adaptation Claw speed challenges, every build brings a new spark of creativity and problem-solving.
It’s an action-packed journey where learning meets fun—and every camper becomes a true gadget innovator!

Push, pull, lift or flip your opponent's robot out of the arena to claim victory and become the Steamoji Robo Battle Master! In this week-long camp, you’ll combine a whole suite of STEAM skills to design, prototype, code and build your very own battle robot that will face off against your fellow campers at the end of the week.

You will learn:

• Coding - Code a Micro:bit microcontroller as the “brain” of your battle bot
• Engineering - Planning, prototyping, evaluating and improving
• 3D Printing - Use 3D design and printing to make additional components for your robot

Start with your brainpower and finish with a bang! In this physical computing camp, apprentices combine coding with a series of other STEM activities to bring their programming skills into action!

It’s all about connecting the digital world and the real world. The goal? Create a motion-sensor machine that can launch an object, play a game or simply say “hello”. To get there, apprentices will learn to code an Arduino microcontroller, and connect it to a device they’ve built using electrical engineering and fabrication skills. Steamoji’s “Build to Solve” program complements and enriches your child’s school studies by exposing them to new technologies in fabrication, physical computing, engineering and digital arts. With these foundational skills, students are then challenged with problems and encouraged to imagine, create and improve their own solutions.
