What is Steamoji?

Steamoji is the maker academy for kids ages 6-14 that equips children with the hands-on STEM skills and a maker mindsets to solve real-world problems.

Richard + Michelle Chin
Richard and Michelle Chin are the husband-and-wife team behind Steamoji Stouffville. As Academy Directors and parents to a curious and energetic daughter, they were drawn to Steamoji’s hands-on approach to STEAM education and its emphasis on creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving.
Richard brings a background in digital marketing and front-end web development, with a builder’s mindset at the heart of everything he does. Michelle is a creative professional with expertise in creative direction and UX/graphic design, with a focus on design accessibility, mentorship, and education.
Together, they are committed to bringing future-ready learning to Stouffville families, inspiring the next generation of builders and creators to build confidence, embrace curiosity, and bring ideas to life.
