Why Steamoji Works

Our hands-on, STEM curriculum covers everything from the screen to the workbench, so kids learn coding, engineering, digital arts, robotics, and more.

Kids master the critical thinking, creativity, and resilience they’ll need to solve tomorrow’s problems, building confidence with every challenge.

Kids earn OJI coins as they level up through their journey, while parents see progress in real-time through the Parent App.
DIRECTOR OF South Surrey
Originally from France, Stephane is now a proud Canadian and father of two girls ages 5 and 7. After a rewarding career working for some of the world's leading business software companies, Stephane decided to scratch his entrepreneurial itch with Steamoji, a concept proudly started in BC that would leverage his experience in technology while forming a deep connection with the community.
Having witnessed firsthand the myriad of career opportunities the STEM fields can offer, and the passion a our kids can put into learning and creating, Stephane couldn't be more excited to work with families in South Surrey and White Rock to level up their skills. Let's get building!

Why Steamoji Works
"Best STEM & Coding you can find in South Surrey/White Rock! Our kids have been coming here for more than 8 months and are truly enjoying the learning experience and I love how I can monitor their daily progress online. The booking system is amazingly easy to work with too, and I can change it very flexibly to fit my schedule! Stephane devotes his time to our kids’ development and loves watching them grow! He truly cares for them and I love that! Book a free session for your child today and see for yourself! You won’t regret it!"
"A Hidden Gem for Young Innovators! Steamoji South Surrey has truly been a game changer for our family! From the moment we first walked through the doors, we were warmly welcomed by Stephane, the incredible owner who runs this space with so much heart and care. He has such a natural way of making every child feel seen and encouraged, like they belong there from the very start. You can tell he’s genuinely passionate about what he does, and it shows in everything from the way he greets each kid to the way he celebrates their achievements. The Steamoji program itself is unlike anything we’ve experienced. It’s a truly unique blend of science, technology, engineering, art, and math, all delivered in a way that feels more like play than school. My children have been absolutely loving it! Every visit is an adventure , full of creativity, curiosity, and hands-on learning. One of our favorite parts? The adorable video recordings we get that show what our child has been working on and the specific skills they’re developing. It’s such a fun and insightful way to stay connected to what’s happening during the sessions . Another major plus the hours are super flexible, which is a dream for busy parents juggling a million things. It’s so nice to have a learning program that fits around our schedule, not the other way around. If you’re looking for a fun, educational, and welcoming place where your child can explore, build, and grow, Steamoji South Surrey is it. Huge kudos to Stephane and the team — you’ve created something truly special here."
"We tried a week steamoji camp last December and my son loved it so much! My son has been attending south surrey steamoji since then and he has learned and improved a lot and is now on level 3. They make videos of your child explaining what they have worked on after each project and you get to see that on the steamoji app. They also give you steamoji points which can be used for lots of different exciting technology stuff! Staffs are so friendly and supportive! My son and I are really enjoying the steamoji and will continue to attend. Highly highly recommended"
"My kids had a fun and successful birthday party here. They really enjoyed all the activities and little gifts arranged by Steamoji. The staff were enthusiastic and caring, and everyone had a wonderful and memorable celebration."
"I love what Steamoji has to offer my kids in terms of hands-on-learning, creative projects and fun incentives to complete their levels and expand their knowledge of all steam subjects! Stephane, the owner, is great with the kids and super kind, occasionally giving me updates on the kids' progress. They offer extra robotics bootcamps and summer camps too if your kids are interested. I feel that my kids have gained so much in terms of competency with computer skills (that aren't taught at school these days) and now their knowledge of coding, engineer, etc has way surpassed mine! I'm impressed that they are able to explain what they are doing to me in a more confident and concise manner as time goes on. I love the summary videos that the instructors film at the end where the kids speak to what they're working on. I've watched both of my kids' speaking skills improve over the last 10 months, and it's amazing! I highly recommend this program and specifically this location, as Stephane has made our experience so positive!"
"Steamoji is encouraging kids to learn things that are not covered in school yet developmentally appropriate. We were initially unsure if this program was right for us as our child didn't enjoy Legos and other stem related activities as mistakes would cause frustration. We would often pack up anything that needed to be built because he wasn't interested. At the Steamoji trial, Stephane eased our concerns about how this program is designed to include kids like ours that may not outwardly express an interest in stem. After just a couple sessions, we noticed our child develop confidence in building the very toys we had packed away. He also understands how to troubleshoot his mistakes and that mistakes are a part of learning. Our son loves going in for his sessions and showing us what he's made. The video recordings of what he's working on and what skills he's using are such a cute highlight for us! Stephane is absolutely amazing. He welcomes each child and parent happily. He creates a fun and engaging environment for the kids and is readily available for any questions. I would highly recommend this location and program for anyone wanting to introduce their kids to stem."
"Great program with fantastic staff. Stephane and his team go out of their way to make learning fun for the kids and keep them engaged with the program. Highly recommended for anyone in the area looking for this type of learning experience. A++!"

With the help of the teacher, she can print out the models she created with a 3D printer️, which is really a cool thing! My daughter goes to class twice a week with full anticipation, and she always yells that she wants to go to class every dayInterest is the best teacher! Therefore, judging from the children's performance and increasing love, Steamoji's school philosophy and teaching methods are successfulI hope the children can absorb more nutrition and climb higher mountains in this cradle of cultivating future technology and design talents⛰️ (Original)
"We recently took the kids for a trial at Steamoji South Surrey and they LOVED it! It’s super clean, the staff is very welcoming and knowledgeable. It is such a great opportunity for the kids. We weren’t in the car for 10min before the kids asked if they could sign up! If you have young kids and live in the area, you are missing out if you haven’t signed up!!"
"My daughter started steamoji south surrey almost a month ago and loves it. She is always excited to go and is very happy to tell us all about her sessions. The staff is very professional, helpful, and friendly. If you are considering this for your child, I highly recommend it! Stop in for a tour like we did. You won't regret it!"
"Steamoji at South Surrey has been an amazing experience for my kids 8 and 13years old. They are both avid tinkers and builders, this program allows them to conceptualize, learn and create in a super fun environment with amazing gadgets and tools to use and to work with. Stephan has been amazing and his staff are all friendly, patient with kids and so helpful. Goodbye Lego, Hello Steamoji, it is a wonderful space that pushes the boundaries on innovation and learning with the kids. Congratulations to Stephan and Team. Thank you for bringing Steamoji to our doorstep at Whiterock."
